V-Bucks are Fortnite’s premium motto, and give you access to goodies like the Battle Pass and various accessories that you might not otherwise be able to get.
Typically, V-Bucks cost real money to get them, but there are lots of ways to get them for free. If you play with the right cards, nothing in Fortnite will be out of your reach.
Of course, you can’t win V-Bucks for free unless you’ve purchased the “Save the World” single-player mode. All of the methods below only work if you own them, so keep that in mind.
In this guide, we’re going to help you learn lots of ways to earn V-Bucks without spending a dime. These are all legitimate methods – we won’t help you earn V-Bucks using questionable methods. You’ll have to go somewhere else for that!
Login every day
You’ll get a few free V-Bucks a day, just by logging in.
Naturally, the number you will receive is very small, but given how easy it is to connect, that’s to be expected. But it’s worth it, because it all adds up!
Keep in mind that you have to connect to Fortnite’s “Save the World” game for it to work. You don’t get anything by logging in to Battle Royale mode, because you have to have purchased the basic game to get things for free.
Do your daily quests
Once logged in, you will have access to a bunch of daily quests. There are a wide variety of activities, and they take place in the PvE part of the game. You can do up to three dailies a day, and you earn 50-100 V-Bucks for each one, so it’s a great way to make V-Bucks.
If you find a mission difficult, or inaccessible (like squad missions in particular), you can give up one per day and restart it. Use this to your advantage
Storm Shield Defense Missions
There are storm shield defense missions scattered all over the map, and you’ll get 100 V-Bucks after completing them. You’ll find six of them at StoneWood, Canny Valley, Plankerton and Twine Peaks. Since the difficulty of each of these areas varies, you may need to reach a certain level to be able to complete each Storm Shield defense mission.
